| THE finest lure in the world!...I have fished with the 1/8 white/silver std. or vibric for over 20 years and it catches everything! Every time i think i might try something different for a change,I ask myself "why"?...If you want to catch any kind of fish, try it! I'm in Ohio and it catches "loads" of Steelhead in the Rocky River! [5 last Sunday, and I lost 2!] Thank you! | |

| It seems that I buy a lot of lures looking for the "magic" one. I get caught on them more than the fish I chase. Many lures live their lives in my tackle box, as I haven't got the faith in them that I have in Roosters. I can always count on Roosters to catch at least that one thing with fins to keep the day from being a dud. I keep a large quantity of them in my box at all times in many color combos and mostly the smaller sizes. I like to fish with mini stuff and get a greater thrill using lures than I might get from bait. As a "catch-n-release" fisherman, I find that gut hooking a fish with food on a hook is not my idea of sport. Using lures makes it easier on the fish and my conscience when all they have is a mouth wound. I usually remove all but one hook on the lure and don't run the risk of destroying the fish that way. Thanks for a good and reliable product. . | |

| Me and my fishing buddies love to get out on the lake no matter what is bitting. When the fishing is either fast or slow, I throw on my Rooster Tail (brown trout) and easily out-fish the guys. I have nearly ten different colors in two sizes, 1/8oz for trout and 1/4oz for bass. My father also swears by a Wordens lure, the Sonic. Thank you for such an affordable and effective lure. | |

| I've been using Roostertail's for over 20 years now, and have never been disappointed by this lure's fish appeal. Your insect green w/gold blade, and salmonfly patterns absolutely kick @@!#$ on trout wherever I go. Thanks for a superior product...no one else even touches you on consistency. | |

| I'm 33. I've been fishing a rooster tail for almost 20 years 1/8oz white with silver blade. I have yet to see this lure out fished by any other lure. I mostly fish for lg. mouth bass in Va. The "tail" is my back up for when the fishing is slow I know I can always catch fish. Fished a section of the Appomattox river 8/7/5 in one hour I landed aprox. 45 fish in a 100yd section. Not any big fish but with action like that who cares. P.S. My son Will is going to be 3 in oct. He has already caught loads of fish with a "Wooster Tail" thanks for the fun. | |

| i went fishing in Virginia with some friends and cought a ton of fish mostly small large mouth, small mouth, and bluegill's but i did manage to catch a brown trout about 17 inches or so, and the guy who took us cought about 10+ rainbows. i used just 1 lure it was a rooster tail that had a black body, with a gold spinner on the front of it, the spinner had 2 sides to it not just 1. that thing went threw alot i only had 1 and that was the only lure i had because i was planning on fly fishing so i wasn't going to let a tree claim it or something else. we had a blast! :) it stinks now i can't find more of these lures *lol* P.S. if you know where i can find this lure (web site only) please email me thanks - Eric | |

| Every year on memorial day weekend me and about 12 of my friends goto Lake Erie to Kelley's Island. We camp, fish and bow fish for carp. Well we do a little drinking too but I don't want to sound like a drunk. Just because we are known at all the bars as the bow fishing group, anyway, back to the story. It was the third day there and coincendentally our last, I guess the rangers don't like you to have two gallons of Johnny Walker Scotch and multiple cases of beer on state property. Like I was saying, it was our third day there and nobody had had any previous luck with the fish. Live softcraws, rattle traps, worms, you name it we tried it. I was sitting around being bored at the camp site (it was 11:00am I have a rule to refrain from alcohol before noon) so I decided to go fish. Besides a bad day of fishing is still better than a bad hangover with nothing to do. So anyway, I stood at the boat ramp on the North side of the island. There is an 'L' shaped harbor that protects you from the rest of the lake. I used a Yellow Super Rooster Tail. I caught my limit on small mouth and filled up a metal stringer with two rock bass on each of the remaining clamps. It was the most increadible day of fishing I have ever had. It was about a half mile walk back to camp and it took a good part of an hour because everyone was in such aw of my catch. I talked to more strangers that day than I ever have on any other given day on my life. Once I got back to camp we had a feast, everyone was stuffed and there was fish left over. I am talking thirteen grown men. Makes you feel pretty good when you can feed your crew til they are stuffed when nobody else in the group could do the same. I have searched high and low for the super rooster since and with no avail, 8 years. I finally got the brainiac idea of looking for the company and low and behold they have a web site... I ordered three super roosters, I can't wait til the get here... | |

| Went fishing with my uncle who is 80 yrs old and he was fishing with a BLUE rooster tail. Caught a fish everytime he threw out and everyone else just sat in the boat looking depressed. This was about 5 years ago and I have not been able to find a Blue rooster tail anywhere. Sure would like to get one. | |

| Thank you, Worden's! Just returned from a spectacular float trip on a remote Alaskan river with two wonderful friends. Fishing for King Salmon and Rainbow Trout, I not only caught the first and the largest but also the most Kings of the trip on your fantastic Fat Fish lure! No one even had heard of it and I had bought them on a whim at a local sports store, not knowing they would turn out to be THE Lure of the excursion. They are killer on Kings with their incredible, intense action...the monster fish could not resist it! The only down side was that I only had 3 of the lures and after landing half a dozen fish, I lost them to the tenacious snags in the river... Next year, you can rest assured I will have over 2 dozen of these Babies in my tackle assortment...thank you for the great product! Warren Petryk, Wisconsin | |

| This isn't my story but a buddy of mine. He uses Worden's #214 white Rooster Tail to catch striped bass in Kentucky at the Kentucky Dam. The lmit there is 30 per person. He had three buddies with him and got 90 and threw abunch back because in his mind they were to small. I use The rooster tail abunch now because of this tall tale. Thanks for listen to my story, Spencer | |

| April 16, 2005, the mighty lehigh river, opening day. I watch the guys on the stock truck dump in 900 rainbows ranging from 15 to 22 inches. I'm in the river hours later fishing my trusty 1/6 oz. pumpkin seed rooster tail. the water is deep and moving pretty fast. I'm swimming my lure across the current when, BAM! a 17 inch smacks my lure. After landing him I'm back again when, POW!, a fat rainbow slams my seed. What a fish! May 14, 12:00 pm I'm sliping into my waders when this old guy comes up from the river. I'm fishing in Parryville, Pa. which is futher up the river. He tells me where there is a good hole. I'm standing in the river following the old guys instruction. The water is moving really fast and then breaks into a deep pool. I cast my seed up and across to swim it with the current until it breaks just coming across the mouth of the hole when this monster rainbow crashes head on with my lure. Oh boy its on now. This has got to be the biggest trout ever in my fishing history.I fight him through the water when he comes up to give me a look at him. I was silent, to scared to even think because I did not want to loose this fish, but I did. he spit my pumkin seed out of his mouth right at me.Thia my friends begins the saga of Bryant vs. then big bows.Today is 2june and since that day I have lost 6 trophy size rainbows including toay when a 20 inch rainbow wwould not let me net him. He fought me even while I had him at my feet. Now I fish with fireline, which is not suppose to break, but guess what? Somewhere in northampton, Pa. there is a big, beautiful, rainbow swimming the lehigh river with a 1/6 oz. pumpkin seed rooster tail stuck in the side of his mouth!:) | |

| Hi, I just want to share my experience with the use of the 1/4 ounce yellow bumbble bee lure. I started using it two years ago on a river bank just before a lake in Tonto National Forest in Arizona. No boat my I add, right of the river shore line. Small mouth Bass was at my taking and it was easy, sense then I was hooked on fishing for bass rather than sitting down waiting for catfish to strike stink bait and drinking beer. This April and May I have broken a record catch for my self, On April 23, 2005 I Drove alone down river from Horseshoe lake in Tonto National forest, it was about 12:30 pm when I started fishing. I started to bait up for cat fish using a night crawler and tossed it out into the river, unfortunately my rig went one way and half the crawler went the other. As I was reeling in to rebait I got a strike, yes it was a small mouth bass, It managed to slip off the hook, but I knew then it was a sign. I picked up my spin casting rig and tied on a Rooster Tail, The Bumbble Bee. With in one hour I landed several good size bass perfect one mealers each. Well, know one beleaved me so I planed another trip for the next week. April 30th, 2005. This time I took a cam corder, I landed and kept four bass, using the same lure in Ten minutes. I tried using other lures just to see if I could catch them but no way, I had to go back again soon. On May 14, 2005 I took My Brother Lorenzo and his two sons, Lorenzo Jr. And Aurturo. They thought they were going to have another one of those boring catfishing trips and watch me and there dad suck up some suds and call it a nother good day. Well they were wrong, The minute we got out of the vihicles I rigged my new Abu G with a Bummble Bee, First cast Landed a perfect 11 inch pan size, the boys were looking and said "ahh beginners luck". I told them, "just wait suckers, cause it's only the bigging". I knew the window for feeding was at hand and after a couple of more casts I landed another, then another. Art asked if I had another one of those lures and I did. I happen to buy all the bumbble bee's they had at Wal-Mart. Art casted a couple of time and he finaly landed his first fish ever, He is 16 year old and never caught a fish in his life but has been fishing with us for years. He soon landed a second one and then he was hooked, He laid down his cat pole and walked the rivers edge and caught one more. Lorenzo Jr. then asked me if I had another lure, "yes". He too caught 2 large small mouths. All together we took home 11 good size bass, all caught in under one hour. I do have a 20 min movie showing me catch 4 in 10 minutes. Just ask and I'll be happy to send it to you. Thanks Mr. Worden. Ralph. | |

| I took my girlfriend out Bass fishing at Clear Lake, Ca last weekend, she had never fished for bass before. There was a big bass tournament and none of the boats around were catching anything. Her and I were in a kayak just having a good time, since we tried almost everything with no results I decided to rig her up with a Lil Corky and a worm to fish the bottom. Within ten minutes she caught an 8 lb. and 6 lb. Largemouth bass. It was priceless watching the looks on the pro bass fisherman's faces when I reached into the water and pulled out the fish. I will definately use this rig on my next bass trip. | |

| I've been fishing for over 55 years. My first memory is fishing in a bucket and I wouldn't quit 'cause I knew I was going to catch a fish! Mother dragged me away, kicking up a fuss (now a family legend). On a 90 degree July 4th, 1999 morning in in my canoe, fishing a deep cut bank of the Nashua river (unusally hot temp for NH), at 7:00AM I caught a 10 lb Largemouth on a Wordens yellow flatfish - - pulled my canoe in every direction of the compass! About 2 weeks later on a similarly hot morning, about 9:00AM on the same flatfish I caught a 7-1/2 lb Largemouth just 75 feet upstream. These are BIG fish for NH and I think the guys in the Bass Boats have trouble believing it when I tell them about it, but it's absolutely true. Barbs are pinched down on the hooks so I was lucky to hold the fish through the jumps in both cases. | |

| The Yellow Flatfish is my favorite lure, and it's my most "confident" lure. I use it whenever conditions permit. Fishing the Great Chazy River in NY (oxbow area) my partner and I parked our canoe against a steep bank for lunch. After lunch, we pulled away and I cast the yellow flatfish to the back corner of the pool just feet from where we ate our lunch. I thought I'd hooked grass as the lure action stopped without too much resistance. As I reeled it in, I thought saw a white paper plate attached to my flatfish, coming up from the depths at about the right resistance. When the white object neared the surface I realized it was a Musky's OPEN mouth! This big fish was docile and laid right up next to the canoe (13' Grumman) just at the surface while my partner Arnold mdeasured him - - 52 inches! Then all heck broke loose and he went under the canoe, then he came back and jumped inches from Arnold in the bow seat. Arnold rolled back into my open tackle box to avoid the Musky, which hit the canoe right side while descending, went under the canoe again, and the flatfish pulled loose. All my barbs were pinched down and I'm sure that's why I lost that Musky. But, it was easy to pull several lures from Arnold's back with no barbs! | |

| I have been float tubing the Chattahooche River north of Atlanta for the last 20 years and each Saturday there is only one lure that starts my day. The Gold Metallic 1/8 oz Rooster Tail. The guys I fish with call it "Olde Faithful" In those 20 years, I have caught thousands of fish on "Olde Faithful". I don't use any other lures when I want to "put on a clinic" as my wife calls it. Each time I fish people ask me what I'm using and I tell them, then they can't find it a retailers. I used to order 100 at a time from Cabela's but they have discontinued them. Man was I glad when I found your online catalog. I just ordered 50 in 1/8 and 15 in 1/16!!! You are the reason I have such success on North Georgia Streams!!! | |

| I went on a 3 day fishing trip last summer with my wife's family. I ended up fishing most of the time with my Father-in-law and my wife's brother-in-law. They fish only with worms and caught lots of small arctic char. I fished almost exclusively with a 1/8 oz. Rooster Tail and caught fewer but larger brown trout and char. The biggest was about 6 pounds. You can see a picture of it at: http://www.hi.is/~erics/photos/BigBrownI.jpg I'll never give up on the Rooster Tail. I've caught everything that one can catch in Massachusetts waters with it: brown, rainbow, and brook trout; largemouth and smallmouth bass; white and yellow perch; pickerel; pike; catfish; horned pout; sunfish; bluegills; even one large shiner! This lure is not available here so I'm the only one in the country who uses one. The fish fall for it everytime. | |

| I fish western North Carolina. 90% of the trout I have caught over the last 35 years has been with rooster tails, mainly the 1/16th ounce size. I fish with a 6.5 to 7 foot very light action spinning rod and 4 pound test line. Accuracy and distance mean a lot in spinner fishing. A few years back My wife and I took our then 14 year old son to France for three weeks. We floated a lot of rivers while there. Fortunately we had an ample supply of rooster tails with us. We caught lots of the local fish. I'm still not sure what they were but they sure liked rooster tails. There were a lot of people fishing from the bank but I don't remember them landing any fish. Fishermen in Europe seem to be very patient! While in France we found a nice local sporting goods store where my son bought a rather unique creel. He struck up a friendship with the owner and gave him a few of our rooster tails. He had never seen any before. I've often wondered if he put them to use and how many fish he may have caught with them. Hope I'm still throwing rooster tails at 95!!!! | |

| Thank you for the 1/8 oz. white rooster tail! It single-bladedly put the fun back into fishing! I had terrible luck in the past, getting skunked every time. Then, my brother suggested I try your lure and ever since I've caught dozens of bass, bluegill, and crappie, every time I've gone out. They may not all be huge but I enjoy catching fish of any size. I combined this lure with YUM! LPT shad attractant and outcatch my friends 10-1. | |

I have caught more fish with them than any other lure. They are tuff and durable because I give them a workout, just ask my husband. I have fished a couple of tournaments and caught keepers with them. I hope you continue to make these lures.

| Happened upon my first rooster about 20 years ago hanging up in a tree branch around Great Falls (Va.), I retrieved it, tied it on, and its been my bread & butter ever since. Have caught fish all over the country and even in the Caribean with roosters (hey Yakima hows about making a salt-water version!). Numbers? At least 105 citation fish, > 45 species = tropical/warm water/cold water. My color/size? Sure I'll tell: I alway keep many varieties in my arsenal but usually rely on the plain ole white & silver in 1/16 or 1/8 oz. Tie one on the end of 4 to 6 lb Fireline/lite floro leader and you can get remarkable distance/sensitivity/durability. Is rooster easiest lure for novices to catch fish on? I think so. But as rooster veterans will tell ya - it is a lure that takes years to master. Much more to it than throwing it out and just reeling it back in (although that will often do the trick!). I use several different tactics to entice fish into biting: ultra-deep slow, bottom dragging/ bumping, jigging/verticle jigging, fluttering, surface retrieves (buzzing and skitterpoppin') - after 20 years I'm still learning new tricks! Luv my roostahs. | |

| I read most of the other stories before I submitted this and noticed that no one else is using the FST for Steelhead. After fishing the Northwest for the last 25 years with everything from spinners to eggs, I finally got a chance to try a FST on steelhead. That's why I'm back to your website and ordering more. I haven't tried them from a boat yet but, we killed them casting from shore. Now that I finally found the FST's, I hope you continue to make them for years to come. | |

| I've been fishing for 30 years, but only started catching fish consistently when I tied on my first Rooster Tail. I have fished Rooster Tails throughout the Southeast and they always catch fish. My absolute favorite is the black 1/8th ounce single hook with silver spinner. Boys, let me tell ya', this is one fish magnet! It'll catch fish under just about all possible fresh water conditions. And if you enjoy "perch jerking" like me, this single hook Rooster Tail has been responsible for hooking up many 1 1/2 to 2 pound bluegill with mouths large enough you could just about "lip 'em." it's been deadly on bass and crapie, too! The single hook is about the only thing I throw anymore. Thanks Yokima for putting out the sinlge hook - it's a real winner!! | |

| I was fishing right outside Greenwich Bay Marina and I was trolling a mackrel and I hooked a 45 pound striper. It took all of my line out of my freshwater rod. Finally the fish got tired and i reeled it in to the side of the boat. The wind was strong, it was raining and the waves were 6-7 feet high, and so our 21 foot boat was rocking around, and the line got caught in the propeller, but didnt break. Finally it was right next to the boat so I grabbed the leader and yanked the fish onto the boat. We measured it and it was 53 inches and 40 pounds. I set the Warwick, RI record for heaviest striper that year in 2003. | |

| Just returned from a labor Day trip to the New York State Adirondacks. Fishing the Stillwater reservoir for smallmouth and perch. We had no success with crank baits for bass and decided to fish for perch with spinners, Rooster tails. I was using a 1/8oz yellow with silver spinner, we caught some perch, but even more smallmouth, some 16 to 18". Very exciting! | |

| I have always used rooster tails to fish for trout. I have recently graduated to fishing the mighty lehigh river in pa. I use a 1/6 ounce pumkin seed rooster tail. I have caught trout this season ranging from 11 inches to 19 inches. Browns, rainbows and brookies. I plan to take this lure with me to montana next august. I'm sure the results will be the same. I may never switch to fly fishing! | |

| I have been using rooster tails for the past 10 years. In this time I have cought a decent amount of fish. No record breakers, but big enough to make my buddies jealous. Most recently I landed a 21inch, 4lb small mouth on a white 1/4once rooster tial out of Tunkhannock creek in Tunkhannock, PA. At first I thought I snagged a log or rock. The retrieve stopped on a dime and a few feet of drag went out. Just as I thought I was going to loose another one of my most precious lures, more drag started to sporadically peel of a few feet at a time. My heart began to pound as I realized my little stop on the way home from work was turning into an afternoon I will never stop talking about. It took me about 1 1/2 minutes to finally get a hold of her. As I held this beautiful fish up against my left arm she stretched from my middle finger down to a few inches below my sleeve line. I stared at her for a few seconds pondering what she would look like hanging on the wall above my bar. With no camera or witnesses I new it would only be another tall tail to tell to the guys for the rest of my life, but the chance and challenge of catctching her again seemed like a better decision. As I gave some water and let her slip out of my hands I couldn't hold back the smile. No matter where or when I go fishing I always use rooster tails and almost always catch fish. They are, in my book, the ultimate lure! | |

| In the Little Ohoopee river of south Georgia lives a small fish called a red fin pike small but lightning fast. The 206-FLR is the only thing the pike will hit. On this day a strike would come on almost every cast. As I reeled a cast in a pike hit and missed within 24 inches of my feet. On the next cast I caught a pike at about 10 feet and snathced him out of the water. As I took my rooster tail from the caught fish, I dropped it at my feet into the water. When the rooter tail hit the water the previous red fin hit it. Thanks you for making the 206-FLR | |

I have been doing real well using the Timber Tiger Crank baits. The Dc-8 and Dc-16 I use 10 to 12 pound test. I throw them on (rip rap) Rocky banks, or around docks. These lures catch fish!!!!!! We fished a small club event. 100% bass future pro. 24 boats, we took a third throwing nothing but Timber Tiger crankbaits. If you like catching bass give them a try. FISH ON!!!!

| I just wanted to say that the Rooster Tail is a great lure and the 1/8 oz. or smaller Rooster in "My Secret Color" works great in the small streams and ponds of New Hampshire. My dad was the person who really got me into using the Rooster Tail and I haven't used many other lures since. From trout to bass or pickerel and perch Worden's Rooster Tail is the lure to catch that "Once in a Lifetime Fish." I hope that every dad, or mom, has a chance to share their love of fishing with their child as my dad has with me through the Rooster Tail. Thanks for great fishing so far and the great fishing experiences hopefully to come, Bryan M. | |

| I'm an avid trout stream fisherman that relies heavily on accurate casts, ultralite equipment and rooster tails. I also keep a fishing database which lists the fish type, stream, date, and lure used. After looking through 5 years worth of data, I realized that all 5,209 trout caught (Browns, Brookies, Bow's), except for 12, we're caught using rooster tails. There's nothing else out there that compares. I wouldn't even bother trying anything else, that is of course, if you have time to WASTE, and don't mind getting skunked. I do have a favorite size and color, which caught 72% of the fish. E-mail me for the secret. Needless to say, I'm a rooster tail junkie. My fishing hat is decorated with retired rooster tails. There's no better lure for trout on this planet. | |

| Greetings My pal Josh and I went fishing on a “gear restricted”, “one fish over 16””lake recently. We had a day of a lifetime. My pal Josh brought several “flat fish” and although we had to change colors to match the weather conditions, (blistering sunshine to hail storm) we put over 12 “legal fish in the boat. All the fish were released unharmed thanks to the single barb less hooks. Thanks to Josh and Wardens Lures for the wonderful day Sam | |

| My broher-in-law and friends laughed when I showed them my new purchase - a 1/16 ounce white Spin-E-Miny. "That thing will never catch fish!" seemed to be thier concensus. At the day's end, I was the one who had caught the most fish, the biggest fish, and the most different species - all on the Spin-E-Miny. Later that year, on one fine Missouri morning, I caught my limit of five trout in about twenty minutes - all with the Spin-E-Miny!!! That was back in 1989. And every year afterward, I would stock up on this lure and catch fish - lots of fish! Then something horrible happened. The only local dealer stocking them closed. Luckily, I had many lures on hand so I have been able to continue catching fish using this lure. I continued to look for the Spin-E-Miny to this day with no luck. Finally, I turned to the internet and now I can stock back up. Luckily so as I am down to one Spin-E-Miny left. Do not be afraid to try this lure. You will catch all types of fish in all sizes! Good luck. Perhaps I will see you on one of Missouri's fine trout streams... Jon | |

| My brother and I have been fishing for years with the Blue Fox spinners (silver body and gold)with six pound line. But two years ago we tried Sonic Rooster Tail (gold or brown) and we both agree that these are the best lures for trout, perch and bass. the day before yesterday, on the small river in upstate New York I caught four beautiful trouts,( one being over sixteen inches long, the other was about 15 inches long and two were about 12 inches long). That was a result of two hours of fishing. Previous summer a good basses, big perches and a Nothern Pikes were just a good results of using these wonderful lures. Thanks to Yakima Bait lures. They make my fishing interesting. | |

| IT WAS THE SUMMER OF 77'AND I WAS FISHING WITH MY DAD AND BROTHERS ON A SMALL RIVER SYSTEM IN OREGON'S KLAMATH COUNTY AND MY BROTHER DARREN HAD TIED ON THIS 1/8OZ BLACK LURE AND STARTED CATCHING FISH LEFT AND RIGHT.I WENT OVER TO ASKED WHAT HE WAS USING AND HE SAID A "ROOSTERTAIL".SO I ASKED IF I COULD BORROW ONE. NO SOONER AFTER TYING IT ON I CAUGHT A FISH,THEN ANOTHER AND ANOTHER. BEFORE I KNEW IT I HAD MY LIMIT OF FISH. SINCE THEN I HAVE PURCHASED MANY ROOSTERTAILS IN ALL SIZES AND COLORS AND EVEN PAST IT ON TO MY SON. NOW HE'S LIMITING OUT EVERY TIME WE HIT THE WATER. THANKS FOR MAKING SUCH A PRODUCTIVE LURE. I DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT MY "TAILS". I WORK AT A LOCAL SPORTING GOODS STORE AND I ALWAYS TELL MY CUSTOMERS DON'T FORGET THE "ROOSTERTAILS". MANY THANKS AGAIN FOR THE FULL STRINGERS,BELLIES AND MEMORIES. | |

| My brother and I have been fishing for years with the quarter ounce 208 MSIL (silver body and spinner with red feathers)with six pound line. We both agree that this is the best color combination for catching a wide variety of fish. Just yesterday, I drove from Dallas to the Litle Missouri River in the Albert Pike area of Southwest Arkansas. I caught three brown trout, one being over twelve inches long, in about an hours worth of fishing. Then I went to a lake close by and in four consecutive casts, caught a big sand bass, a smallmouth bass, a bluegill and a sunfish. That was just one day's fishing, and I still had time to drive back to Dallas. Thanks you Yakima lures. | |

| I have had two trips to Schoodic Lake this spring and thanks to my flatfish lures I have been catching fish. I have been slow trolling with the flatfish lure, the hottest one so far has been the F7 in the luminous w/ black spots color. I have caught some nice brook trout up to 17" and also lake trout up to 10 lbs. with this lure...I tried some other brands of lures but only got limited results. I fished yesterday with a couple friends they had on other lures mainly spoons, it wasn't long till they switched over to the flatfish...I had landed about about 5 fish then they decided they probably better tie on the flatfish ! respectfully submitted, Gene Goodine Lagrange,Maine | |

| I have always had a fishing rivalry with my brother in law (call him Fred)and on a trip out to Colorado I had some real fun with him. There were around five of us on this trip and we stopped at a lake up in the Rockies. I was using a white rooster tail and started catching trout one after another. Nobody else was catching anything. I lent my father-in-law a Rooster tail and he started catching fish (good thing I have dozens!). Then my wife's uncle tied one on and he started catching, followed by my other brother in law, who also caught a bunch of trout. In the meantime Fred only caught one fish and the rest of us caught and released dozens of fish. I kept offering a Rooster Tail to him as well, but he was stuborn. The only thing better than catching fish is catching more than your Brother in Law! | |

| Do you want eternal life? You know, if I told as many people about Christ as I did roostertails, we would all be headed for Heaven. When I am fishing fromm the bank, and I don't care where what lake, I will catch fish while everyone else fishing there looks on in envy. That's when I start spreading the good news. Fish with a roostertail and thou shalt catch fish! My brother and I fish with i/8th once MSIL (silver body and spinner with red feathers.) That's all we need. I've caught everthing from 2 nine lb bass at Lake Fork on the same day to catching a bird in mid-flight. For the wages of fishing with anything but roostertails is folly, but the gift of Yakima bait is more fish than you know what to do with. I had a neighbor one day "witness" to me about roostertails. Now, I just pass it on, especially to young fishermen. Bringing in the fish, bringing in the fish, we shall come rejoiceing, bringing in the fish!!! | |

| For several years, Worden's Spin-E-Miny has been my #1 bait. It attracts almost all kinds of fish, from trout to muskie, bluegill to stripped bass. It happened several times that, at a same spot, while I caught over 20 fish with this little bait, my friends didn't even get a bite with jigs, crank bait and any other bait! I have ever caught a 15 pound stripper with a 1/16 ounce Spin-E-Miny down the Greenwood Dam at South Carolina. I don't know why it is so hard to get Spin-E-Miny in stores. I usually bought it from Meijer stores at Michigan/Ohio. I've never found it at any other store. It seems to me that it is not sold at Meijer any more since I didn't find it in Meijer in the past several months. The price listed at this website seems too high. I will appreciate it if any one can tell me where I can get Spin-E-Miny with lower price. | |

| I fish a small river on the Oregon coast every weekend it is open. Summer, fall, winter and spring all I have in my little tackle box are Rooster Tails. Two colors that work every time are Crawfish and Green Caddis. Salmon, steelhead and trout all fall for these everytime. If I don't catch a fish in the first few throws then their ain't no fish around to be had! Six pound test and a 1/16 oz. tail gets em' everytime. Superior product to say the very least. Thanks for a great trip every time. | |

| Me and my 2 cousins fish in a local creek here in TN and all we use are rooster tails either 1/16 or 1/8 and we catch alot of good smallmouth and red eyes on em. one day on this creek i was throwing a 1/16 white one and i noticed somkinda fish was playin with it but i couldnt see the fish so i finally lured it out into the shallower water where i could see and it was the biggest fish id seen in that creek but i still had no idea what it was so i kept trying to get it to bite finally i slowed it down and he grabbed it when i finally got it in it was a 4 1/2lb rainbow trout which blew me away cause they aint supposed to be in there but i sure was glad i had that roostertail to bring him in thanks. | |

| I have got to say the Flatfish X4 and X5 have got to be the best lures in my tacklebox. The Rainbow Trout that I fish for jut love the frog and yellow with black and red spots. Just trolling them at a near idle speed on a 2 hp motor means a fish everytime the lines are just finished setting up. Thnks for the great time to come! | |

| I'm a school teacher, and frequently fish with other teachers. We usually put in 5.00 and see who can catch the most bass. When all the worms, top-water and crank baits fail and the moon isn't right I have always won the contest with 3/8 ounce white rooster tails. They don't sell them locally so I send for them.I've caught over 20 bass 5lb and bigger on them. The hooks are small so keep a tight line. All the bass together I've probably taken 1000. It is my best lure.My competitors call me a cheater when I get it out. | |

| I have been using Spin E Miny's for trout exclusively. The down side is every freshwater fish seems to be attracted to it. From pumpkinseeds to pike, fish can't resist this little jewel of lure. The biggest fish I almost caught, got away after straightening two of the three hooks! Never saw it but kept the souvenir. | |

| I,ve been fishing with worden's rooster tails for 20 years now. I go to catch and release streams here in PA. During the may, june and july months I slay rainbows and brookies with your brown rooster tail. It's so much fun fishing next to fly fisherman and pullin them out right in front of them. I also took them up to lake superior and caught a couple 32 inch northerns on black ones. There are the bomb.. Thanks for a great lure. | |

| I have tried many lures over the past 35 years of fishing in New Hampshire, some good, some not worth tossin overboard. I'd say the "deadliest" thing in the tool box is Charlie Helins "Flatfish". size doesnt matter..ive had fingerling bass, perch, pickerel, and others no bigger than the "F5" hit the F7 and X-4 hard..ive caught 22"Northern Pike on an f4 just flippin in the reeds,.. trolled the x-4 20-40 ft down and 100 ft back at dead slow.. bass hit it like it got hooked in the rocks. Those who DO know, have stopped totin' around the "junk" in the tool box, and they just keep the flatfish ... and the fish they catch of course.. And no, im not THat Charlie H.,but god bless him.. | |

| While serving in Baghdad Iraq and enjoying a little war zone relaxation, I have caught several Big Mouth Bass on your Rooster Tails, with the largest so far being over 26 inches. | Some lures are made to catch the angler and his pocketbook. The Rooster Tail spinner did attract my eye, but I found out it also attracts fish. During a past visit to Wind Lake, in Racine Cty., WI, my friend and I noticed commotion on the water's surface. We slid our boat near the commotion, and I started casting a white and silver Rooster Tail spinner. In 55 minutes, we caught 52 white bass. This was exciting fishing, and I've written about this in many published articles. | |

| While fishing Ice House Res in calif using a small gold Triple Teaser I hooked a 14" or so rainbow, while reeling it in a osprey picked it up not 20ft behind the boat. I had to pull the hook out of the fish to let the bird have it. We have to remember the birds were there first. | |

| All I can say is that your rooster-tail spinners have been phenomenal on smallmouth Bass in Kawartha Lakes in Ontario. My fishing partner and I have each caught 4-5 Ib fish using these spinners.. my personal record is 1 5.5 Ib smallie! But the colour we use is a closely guarded secret! In fact we have so much confidence in these lures that we'll be using a arsenal of them on an upcoming bass tournie ! THANKS for giving us so much fishing satisfaction and producing these fantastic products! | |

| Decided to get out on the water last evening 8/17/03 after two weeks of heat and humidity. Fishing the Wood River in Rhode Island. After trying some natural bait I switched over to a Worden's Rooster Tail-white and then he hit! I was using my ultralight Berkley rod with 6lb test. I knew I had a corker on the line so I loosened up the drag big time and let him take off. I did everything possible to keep him out off logs etc. He ran, jumped, vaulted several times. After about ten minutes I tried to net him but he wasn't ready. I just kept reeling. I finally was able to bring him into shallow water after about twenty minutes. All in all-an 8 lb rainbow. This is the largest fresh water fish I have ever caught! Thanks to the RoosterTail I'll have that big boy on the wall. I'll send a picture when I get them developed. Thanks Again, Kevin J. | Vibric rooster tail pretty much rules in N. Georgia trout fishing. It has produced 4,5,6, and 8 pound rainbows and browns for myself. On the tailrace water below the dam, it can easily catch 50 stockers and native born fish any day the water release and rainfall are minimal. | |

| I would like to thank the Yakima Bait Company and Worden's Lures for helping me hook and land my first lake trout!! On May 17, 2003 I was trolling a lake in the Adirondack Mouuntains of New York fishing with two buddies for lake trout and land locked salmon. We were not having any success when we met another fisherman who suggested I try a Worden's (F7)Metallic Copper Flatfish. He handed me this gorgeous lure which I promptly tied onto a 12lb. monofilament leader and 12lb. leadcore line on my Daiwa Crossfire medium action rod. My buddy and I were trolling along the lake at sunset when we began to notice several rises directly ahead of us. I immediately brought my line up from a depth of 40 feet to within 15 feet of the surface. All of a sudden I felt the tremendous strike of a 23 inch laker as it swallowed the Worden's Flatfish! Although I had previously caught brook, brown and rainbow trout I had never landed such a beautiful laker! I thank the kind fisherman who generously shared his valued lure as well as the company that produced this magnificent lure!! | |

| I own a small RV Park and Resort on Hyatt Lake in the Southern Oregon Cascades. A Friend and I were discussing the lake and he said he had never had any success on Hyatt Lake. I told him it was how you fished and where you fished. I took him out on my boat with one of my trolling outfits ( Steelhead Pole, Level Wind Reel, and Lead Core Line). I put on 4 feet of monofilament and attached a Silver 3960 Triple Teaser that I had added an orange eye and silver prism reflective strip to. Finding the 3960s of any type in Southern Oregon is next to impossible so I buy the silver and brass when I can, and modify them. After about 10 minutes he was enjoying the ride and scenery when I mentioned to him that the sound he was hearing was the line stripping off my reel. He swung around, grabbed the rod, and pulled back. When he did, a large Rainbow cleared the water behind us. He said "Billy I got a Hog", I started backing the boat into the fish, and eventually landed it. 4lb 14oz Rainbow. He said he would never doubt me or my Lake again. Thanks! Bill | |

| Since I was 5 years old and caught my first fish on a wardens roostertail, it has been my go to bait. I am now 14 and fish has become my life. Last year I was fishing on a private lake using a 1/16 oz. roostertail for crappies and bluegills. I was fishing the lillypads when I felt my lure hit a log. I lifted the bait over the log, but as I dropped it down the other side, an 8 1/2lb largemouth bass. I love roostertails! | |

| I am a pro who has great success with your products, in September 10 of 2002 fishing the Vernita bridge area using your large flatfish we nailed 11 large upriver brights in a day and a half of fishing ranging from low 20s to a monster buck that weighed over 60lbs was hooked at 12:04 and landed at 6:40pm , we covered over 3 miles of river and this true giant broke me several times, it was landed on 12lb Maxima line GL3 loomis rod, Shimano Curado reel and your great flatfish, at dark we landed the beast and over half the hooks were almost straight, this is one of the top fish in modern day fishing, we also caught 1 over 50lbs 1 over 40lbs and a hen that was 39lbs plus! I recommend you let these pigs take the rod down at least 3 times before setting the hook, also in heavy flow use 12lb downrigger balls and fish the 50ft stuff for monster fish. | I have fished with flatfish lures since I was a kid. Now that I'm older I'm fishing with alot more knowledge and science. This summer I had a chance to do alot of fishing in Sodus Bay on Lake Ontario. On one 2 and one half inch red and white flatfish I caught sunfish, perch, rockbass, large and smallmouth bass, and almost the largest pike I have ever seen. Without criticism of a well worn lure, after catching my breath and examining the lure I realized that the pike had straightened the hooks out on my flatfish. I can't wait for my new flatfish to arrive and summer to come | |

| Just spent the last week of August fishing the St. Lawrence River in the 1000 Island region. I was after Northern Pike, but all the locals said that they were deep and hard to catch. After catching only one medium size pike the first day, I tied on a 1oz purple Rooster Tail and worked it slowly along the deep side of the weed beds. I caught and released my limit the next 4 days straight! I believe the casting distance coupled with the slow retrive enabled the lure to get into the deeper zone that the pike were in. THANK YOU Rooster Tail!! | |

| I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for continuing to produce high quality, durable spinners when other companies have sacrificed either or both. I have used Rooster Tails for over thirty years and have always had tremendous success with bass, trout, walleye, you name it (well ok, no marlin, but you get the picture.) Just the other day, I caught a 9.3 lb. largemouth by accident on a 1/8 yellow 'tail up here in New Hampshire. Great fish to catch and I never once worried about the lure coming apart or splitting. Thanks, again, Bill simpson | |

| i have a 3/8 ounce rooster tail and i was fishing one day off of a sunken barge. I was fishing for catfish when i saw what i thought was a muskie swim by. I grabbed my other pole that had my rooster tail on it and made about 10 casts, around the area that it was swimming. I reeled in and started casting about 15 feet from the last area. BOOM!!!! I got a hit and she hit good. I caught a 24in. Muskie. Thanks for making a great lure like Rooster Tails. | |

| Just wanted you to know that I just returned from my 1st trip ever to the Potholes Reservoir in Central Washington. My daughter and I were over there to actually catch trout but with the hihg water level the trout action was non-existent BUT THE WALLEYE ACTION WAS HOT!!! Her and I were working a pair of DC-13 Timber Tigers in similar Perch patterns along the West shoreline and landed a pair of Walleyes measuring 30"/9 lbs and 28"/8 lbs respectively. We also caught a couple 27"/7+ lbs around the Goose Island area but we released them both. After all how much Walleye can a person eat? Now if only the Timber Tigers were easier to find in my area. Thanks YBC for making such a great lure which brings memories of a lifetime. Regards, Todd Sieben Kent, Washington | |

| A friend of mine and I were fishing a new spot on the Stillwater River here in Ohio. He happened to be using a Crawdad-Shaped crankbait but I held true to my trusty rooster tail.About three hours into this particular trip my friend had caught about 10 fish all less than a pound to my three.Low and behold as i was in the middle of the river on top of a boulder when it happened,I threw my 1/4 oz.chartreuse rooster tailcompletely onto the far bank.Puliing the lure so slow that it was bumping every rock on the way back to me then it hit like i had snagged a log,but it was swimming i reeled it closer and as it felt the pressure of being pulled across the river it took to the air dancing on top of the river then diving back down and swimming upstream. After about four or five minutes of fighting i finally got the 4 lb. Bronzeback Smallmouth. It was such an adrenaline rush that my friend asked if he could get a picture of him holding my rooster tail lunker. | |

| Most of my fishing is with the rooster tail. I was fishing with a 1/8 oz. green rooster tail in a canal. Hardly anyone there had caught a fish in the last three days. I casted a false cast and something bit it. The fish was easy to bring in. It was a brown trout, about 14 inches. My net was inside our cabin that we were staying in. It fell off my line, slid down the hill, and got away. All of the other fish I've caught were sunfish. | |

| I just recently returned from Sanibel Island Florida. After exhausting my salt water tackle in the surf I tied on a 1/8th oz. white rooster tail. Amazing! I fished the gold blades when the tide was out and the water was stained, silver blades when clear. I landed countless skipjacks, bluefish, a 6 lb spanish mackeral and snook from the surf! All the local bait shops were amazed. By the way I have proof. E-mail me for pictures of your lure still attached to a 22 inch snook. Great lure guys I keep one in my hat, as it is truly the most productive artificial around. -jonathan | |

| After fishing several local ponds in my area, just to catch average size crappie and blue gill, I landed the largest bass (that I have caught, except smaller) I caught it on, (believe it or not), a 1/16 oz. rooster tail! It weighted 3.5 lbs. and I was using 2 lb. test on an ultralight which made it even more challenging. All I could think of was that 2 lb. test snapping!!! Thanks for the roostertail!!!! it's definately my favorite especially the 1/16 oz., not to metion the trusty ultralite, that I use religiously! | |

| I Have caught many Bass on your Tennesse Shad deep diver. I do alot of trolling and bounce the lure off the bottom. I find rocks are the best spots. I have caught many 4 6 7 pounders. The biggest was 9lbs 4 ounces. At Lake Hodges in Southern Calif. At Lake Wholford In the same area. I was catching bass trolling when no one else was. Other colors work. I find the Tennesse Shad deep diver works the best. I troll at a fast speed and I do get many snags. I also let out alot of line 50 yards or more. I can feel the lure hitting the bottom. Try this method you might catch more BASS. | |

| On Monday June 17, I was fishing the McKenzie river in Oregon. We had dropped into a favorite steelhead hole of mine and were antisipating good action. We were just drift fishing shrimp with no corkies or spin glo's. Things were pretty slow. About 9:30am I remembered a past trip on the river where I had used your dark green spin glo, and had great success. I can no longer find this particular color anywhere in the Eugene area. Fortunatly I still had two in my box. I hooked four steelhead in five casts. I really need to find more of these spin n glo's. Thanks for the good times. Jim | |

| I was fishing for pickerel with a silver flatfish with red spots, size x-4, on a windy day blowing into a sand bar, causing a milky colored water. I had already caught 3 walleye(8 lbs.,9.5lbs.,10 3/4 lbs) with this new and last flatfish when I got a strike. It took about ten minutes to get this monster in. And a monster he was as he weighed in at over 15 pounds. The most remarkable thing is that the fish broke the nose of the lure off just in front of the eye and also broke off one hooks on the rear treble hook and bent the other two. He left his teeth marks. The worst part is I can't find my favorite color any more. | |

| I have had a lot of luck with the Spin-e-Miny in the 1/4 oz with all the colors. A few weeks ago I caught 24 Largemouth bass, 3 Crappie (one wich weighed 1.5lbs),3 Bluegill and 1 Northern Pike this was allin one day on a public lake here in Michigan. I am very pleased with the Worden's Spin-e-Miny. Over the past few years it has become my fish finder bait. It is the first lure that I use before anything else. If you can find them use them they work. | |

| Over the years, my Dad told me a lot of things, but one of the ones that has always held true is that a white rooster tail is the best spinner for trout. I hadn't fished much in the years since he passed on, but after finding the exact match to his old ultralight combo, I decided to have a go again. My modest back pocket tackle box contains two things... white rooster tails and black rooster tails, in a variety of weights. I tied on a white 1/16th oz today, and on the first cast, I landed a 6 inch brown trout. I let him gently back into the water, and as I watched him slip away and under the bank, the calm whisper of the stream, fond memories of my father, and the reliability of a simple white rooster tail made this the best Father's Day in years. | |

| WOW! Thanks a ton! I just bought a new 1/8 ounce Rooster Tail, and it is far and away the best lure I have ever used. Before this, I'd had very little success with spinners, but not any more. Within the first 45 minutes of fishing with the Rooster Tail, I had already caught 3 fish, both largemouth bass and bluegill. Talk about versatility. This is my new "go to lure." Do yourself a favor, go pick one up NOW! | |
| Ken Davison | otismates@plains.net |
| The first lure that I use when rainbow trout fishing is the 1/8 oz. yellow bumblebee, Roostertail. I have caught trout, tiger musky, black bass and various sunfish on this lure for years, just wish more of the major stores carried it. I have always relyed on the rooster tail for fish, the colors and action can not be compared to any other lure as far as I am concerned. | |

| I was first introduced to the rooster tail when i went trout fishing on the White River, Arkansas and i was hooked on it instantly. This has to be my all time favorite lure. Once i flipped a orange, green rooster tail behind a branch jam near a bank in about 4 feet of water. I reeled in and then my line went tight. I pulled, but i thought i was stuck. Then, my line zipped under the boat, and i knew i had a fish. About 5 minutes later, i hoisted a 3 pound rainbow trout from the water. That was a good sized fish, considering the river. But thanx Yakima Bait Company for making the lure that is my favorite, and has caught my biggest trout to date. | |

| I fish alot of different types of water for numerous types of fish and the one lure that will always catch fish is a RoosterTail. I use larger RoosterTails in white, silver, and grey minnow colors in the Tennessee River for smallmouth bass, white bass, largemouth, and an occasional striper. I fish the Norfork River in Arkansas for rainbow and brown trout which tend to favor the brighter flo.colors and the natural brown and greens. I also fish farm ponds here in Mississippi for bluegill and largemouth bass. I catch quite a few nice largemouths on the SuperRoostertails. I usually use black or green for bass. Stepping down to the 1/16 oz. Roostertail in blacks and browns will net you quite a few large bluegills and shellcrackers. Great lures for teaching kids to fish..just cast and reel back slowly. Thanks for such a great lure selection. | |

| I have been using rooster tails ever since i was old enough to pick up a rod. A tradition that was passed down to me by my father who swore them to be the most versatile lure made. I have caught bluegill, bass, crappie and walleye on them. One day while fishing a local farm pond I tied on a 1/4 ounce Metallic Silver w/ Red Skirt. On my second cast I felt a bump and set the hook. I proceeded to fight the fish for nearly 30 minutes before landing it only to find that it was a 32 pound Flathead Catfish!! Needless to say i was stunned and now I truly believe what my father has been telling me for years. "If theres a fish in there, it will bite on a rooster tail." Thank you for making such a fine lure and a memory that will last a lifetime. | |
| Tom Peacock | gogebic2@aol.com |
| Rooster Tail spinners are such consistent producers for walleye and smallmouth on Lake Gogebic in the UP of Michigan they are often the only lures I take out. The 1/4 oz. crawfish (#212CF) is so good I often go out with only one pole and that one lure. If I can't get a fish with that lure, they just aren't biting! | |

The rooster tail is the only lure that we travel with. It has been responsible for over 10 brookies weighing over 5lbs. I have one mounted 5lbs 14oz and 6lbs 1oz.

| I would like to share a most memorable experience that I had this past summer. I was spending some vacation time at my parent's cottage, located two hours north of Toronto, Ontario, and was rekindling my childhood interest in sport fishing. I had experienced limited success for the first week or so, but that was all to change. On August 1, at approximately 9 p.m., I wandered down to the shoreline to throw a few casts before dinner. Standing in about 3 feet of water, I began casting out to a weedline just off shore. My lure of choice, as it often is, was an X4 Flatfish, frog pattern. On my fifth or sixth cast, I hooked into an enormous largemouth (particularly for Canadian waters) and when I finally landed her, the tale of the tape was 6lbs. 12oz. and 22 ins. in length. I won the annual lake fishing derby (hands down) and was rewarded with the President's Trophy and an article in the local newspaper. I would like to thank the people at Worden's for providing me with a lifelong memory and for making lures which are effective and easy to fish, even for a novice angler. | |

| May 29th, 1999 I was fishing a reclaimed strip pit using a Worden's Timber Tiger. I was having a lot of success with it. I cast parallel to the shore and cranking about 2-3' deep in clear water. Got a big hit and the retrieve seemed mighty strange. When the Tiger got to the boat I saw why...two largemouth bass on the same lure...one on each trebble hook. My wife grabbed the net and helped me get them into the boat. One was 5.13# and the other was 2#. Hard to believe but true. | |

| I go to Chenengo Valley State Park every year. Each time I go, I only bring 4 things with me. My ultra-light spinning rod, my stringer, a chartruse rooster tail, and a net. I always catch my limit of rainbows from a boat within the first 45 minutes I'm out there. Any other bait or lure, I gotta wait at least 3 or 4 hours. Rooster tails are the bomb!! | |

| Hi RoosterTail folks! I was fishing last night(2-27-02) hoping to pull out a few bass before I turned in for the night. I wasn't having much luck with the soft plastics I was using so naturally, I went to the RoosterTail!! Well, after a few casts I felt the weight of what I thought to be a beaver or some other animal of sorts, (hey, it was dark!). Setting the hook, it took almost ten minutes to land the 20lb. 7oz. carp! I caught him using a 1/6 oz. black/glitter Rooster on 6lb. SpiderLine! Needless to say, as soon as he was on shore and my nerves were settled, I took a few snapshots of him and put him back. Another great outing thanks to a RossterTail! Keep up the GREAT work!! -John M. Rodriguez, lifelong RoosterTail user! | |

| This winter I have been fishing the Arkansas river here in Pueblo, CO. I have caught a total of 40 trout on a 1/8 oz bluegray, rainbow and brown trout colors. I fished a river this weekend that produced a 17 inch rainbow on a blurgray 1/8 oz Roostertail. Excellant lures. | |

| For the first time in 12 years the trout king was defeated, I defeated him soundly and did so by exclusivly using rooster tails. My good friend the trout king has fished the same Colorado lakes once or twice a year for the past 26 years, myself and other friends have made the trip with him over the last dozen years and in all that time noone had caught more trout than he. In the old days it was spoons and bait, but after one year with spinners it became the technique of choice. We all used panther martins and all did well but the trout king ruled. One year I decided to try Rooster Tails and was happy with the results but I kept alternating with pm's that and the following year and couldnt touch the king. Last year I decided to use only Rooster Tails and it paid off big time I took the lead the first morning and extended it every day after that. Mind you these are not stockers we catch. Final tally me 55 and trout king 47 over a 4 day period. I think that the rooster tail not only looks better in the water than pm's but they also last longer when trout knock the @#!% out of them. I am looking forward to that drive from the Tx panhandle to S. central Co. this year as the reigning champ. I have every confidence that as long as the trout king is hell bent on using other spinners the Rooster Tails and myself will win again. Best colors for me in the early spring are. The luminous (pale green) w/ matching blade. The cartruese w/ bronze blade. The mettalic green w/ bronze blade. The standard green w/ bronze blade The orange, pink and brown bodies w/bronze blade. I did well w/ the silver blades as well in cloudy and windy conditions. | |

| I am a passionate Salmon/Steelhead fisherman that eats, sleeps, and breaths fish counts, water temps, river levels and all the other components that can lead to an awesome day on the river but the one thing I have never had to question is what to use. In the years I've fished and the number of fish I've caught I know for a fact that EVERY ONE was caught off either a Lil Corkie or a Spin-Glo. I don't even bother trying new gadgets and gizmo's. My motto, If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Yakima baits are truely amazing. E-mail if you need tips on hot color's or techniques! FISH ON! | |

| Out of all those lures out there, My favorite is a Rooster Tail. I was first introduced to it on the famous White River in Missouri,/Arkansas while catching rainbow trout. At daylight we started a float trip type thing down the river from our camping spot. about 15 yards down was a jam of sticks and some logs (probably a beavers lodge.) I threw a rooster tail behind it and i thought i hung it up on something. I thought to myself oh well guess ill have to cut it if it wont break loose. But then i yanked it again and the line went down and under our boat. after about 5 minutes i pulled a 3lb rainbow into the boat (that was pretty good for what was in the section of river). That was the biggest fish on the trip and the biggest rainbow I ever caught. | |

| Where should i begin..Well let's just start the story out by saying i really didn't know much about Rooster Tails until one day when i was having no luck catching fish , when a couple of guys came up and asked me if i wanted some fish. I in return asked them what they were fishing with and they replied "Rooster Tails". I left soon after and went to the tackle shop and bought 3 different colors of Worden's Rooster Tails. To say the least my next trip fishing was the first truly successful fishing trip i had in a long time. Since then i have used Rooster Tails and cought just about every kind of fish imaginable. Recently i have disovered Brown Trout LOVE them too. Thanks Yakima for the great lures !!!!!!! | |

| I'm a second year Lake trout fisherman and I would like to boast about the Flatfish. I'm used to using metheods like the lead core, spinner rigs, and spoons. the second year, while pumping the local geezers at our fishin' spot, one 'old tymer' sung the song of the Flatfish. The fish weren't bitting anything we threw out, so I went to the local tackle shop and bought two. My fishin' buddies scoffed and geered, statind that won't work. Ten minutes into trolling and adusting, a five- pounder slammed into it! I caught four more, lost one lure, picked up another color, and even caught two on it. I caught the only lake trout on the trip. If you ever need a tester... I'm your man!!! | |

| I live in Washington State, and when the cold wind starts to blow, the fishing can get real tough. The fish go deeper and are not willing to bite much of anything. That's when I tie on a Flatfish with enough weight to go deep. It's a sure way to keep the bite on for the rest of the day. | |

| The Roostertail spinner is one of my favorite baits. I've caught numerous bass, including some real monsters, with a 1/4 oz Roostertail in chautruese and firetiger patterns. I've also taken pike, pickeral, trout, panfish and perch. Terriffic lure. Its reputation as a classic is well-deserved. That said, I have found that the Roostertail isn't as durable as some other spinners. I've had to replace one of the patterns three times because the finish cracked and then came completely off. Although I've used the particular pattern heavily, I wasn't exactly bouncing it off rocks. Perhaps there's a quality control issue? | |

| Rooster Tails I have found are the most successful lures that I have ever used. My two sons and I went to a private pond that we go to often. The lily pads where small and I threw my 1/6oz white Rooster Tail in the midst of pads more than three times when I finally hooked a MONSTER 8lb. BASS! And it put up a good fight too! My boys were very excited to see such a HUGE BASS! I am going to mount the BIG ONE! Thank You for letting people do this. | |

| There is no lure that compares to your 1/4 oz. black speckled body and gold spinner for bringing the big brown's from up off the bottom. The big boys are down there lurking but it is usually the smaller rainbows that get to the lure first (and the big boys tend to hide when this happens). There is something about this above roostertail that makes the big boys come to the top immediately and I hang on tightly - Thanks | |

| I have used FlatFish lures for years fishing in a glacier created lake in the High Sierras in California. The particular lake is 160 acres, about 140 feet deep at its deepest point, and maintains a continual level due to the incoming and outgoing stream. I just concluded a week of fishing there two weeks ago. As usual, the Phosphorescent Yellow FlatFish was effective with the German Brown trout at about 40 feet depth (I use a downrigger and am forever looking for a release mechanism that will "pop" when a fish of about one pound hits it). One afternoon, after having limited success with smaller gold and silver FlatFish I changed to a F4 Frog pattern. Within minutes I had achieved a career large fish, a 3.41 pound Rainbow that had been stocked by the California Department of Fish and Game. At this point I consider any lure in my tackle box other than the FlatFish to just look nice. | |

| Ultra-light is the way to go! Fishing in the spring for Quartz Lake, Alaska Rainbowtrout. The fish were numerous and shallow, on gravel beds, making it even more frustrating that we could see so many fish, but they showed no interest in striking. We epeimented with a variety of colors, and finally struck gold with a chartreuse 1/24 Roostertail spinner. In the space of an hour I caught 3 Rainbows ranging from 20-23 inches. Fighting them on light line only increased the fun. After the 3rd fish a neighboring angler walked over and offered me $20 for the lure I was using. I turned it down. | |

| I recently had an amazing morning of fishing thanks to the rooster tail (Brass spin and black tail). I grabbed a blue cat(18"), largemouth(16"), white bass(13"), saugeye(15"), and some panfish. Unfortunately, lost it on a 20+" walleye at boat side. Rooster tails outprefrom anything on small Kentucky lakes. | |

| Whenever i go fishing with a roostertail, i can count on catching fish. one my dad and i were on a camping trip in eastern washington and i hooked on the biggest largemouth in washington state. it took me 15-20 minutes to get the basssss in it was like a log, it wasn't fightng much but it was so huge it was hard to reel in. I finally got the sucker right next to the boat and the fish took a little flip and my line snapped right ant the boat. That largemouth basss must have been at least 15lbs. Besides that we were catching tons of trout. All we were doing was trolling | |

| The M-2 Flatfish is the only lure I use when fishing for the chinook salmon on Lake Michigan at nite. The phosperous colors work the best at nite espeacially when flashed with a camera flash to make the lure glow in the dark. I won the Pepsi-Cola Salmon fishing derby in Chicago two years in a row on this lure. Thumbs up for a great product!!! | |

| Rooster Tails are by far my favorite lures for fishing steelhead and trout. My personal favorites for summer steelhead are the 1/8 oz black vibrax with a silver blade and the same size silver sonic with black feathers. For rainbows, I have the most success with 1/8 & 1/4 oz silver sonics with black or brown feathers or the same size in brass with brown feathers. My box is stocked primarily with Rooster Tails with a pretty heavy leaning towards the sonics and vibrax. These lures just plain catch fish. | |

| Hey,I've been a fan of your lures since I was a toddler. I've caught fish all over the U.S. on your lures, including salt water fish. An old favorite my dad used when the fish weren't biting is a leopard green F7 with the double size 6 treble hooks. I happened to find one two weeks ago in an old box,and tried it out at Conchas lake in East New Mexico. Amazing action. I caught several nice large mouth in a matter of minutes, not to mention nearly a dozen white bass that I returned to the water. But, that's not all, this week I took off toward Arizona, and fished Wheatfields lake on the Navajo Nations South of Farmington, and again that 35 year old lure knocked them dead. Not only rainbow trout, but the big German Browns sure hit that thing for all they were worth. | |

| A couple weeks ago, I got back into fishing after a 10 or 12 year layoff. Job got in the way; Charter bus driver. Well, to keep this story in perspective, we have a few small ponds and lakes very near my home town and in my former fishing life, I liked to fish a pond at a private club. The other day, I decided to try out another lake in the area. My favorite lure has been a yellow/black Roostertail, but like most of us we like to try new things. After about an hour of trying a couple new lures, I went back to "Old Faithful" (yellow/black Roostertail) and fished for another hour with no success at all. I decided to try an old pearl finished Flatfish. On my second cast I caught a 22" largemouth. 20 minutes later I caught a 7" bluegill. Then caught a 3 1/2 lb smallmouth and another largemouth (2 - 2 1/2 lbs). This new "old" Flatfish was amazing. I had more fun fishing that day than I've had in a long time. Thanks, Worden | |

| Just wanted all you fishermen to know that my favorite lure is a 1/6 oz white Rooster Tail. I have caught silverbass, smallmouth, largemouth, walleye, sauger, rainbow trout, a few crappie and on ocassion a couple of channel and flathead catfish. 90 % of my fishing is with a Rooster Tail. I have also caught a sauger weighing over 6 pound. It is a current state record and was for a dozen years a 12 lb.line class world record withthe IGFA. To sum it up I highly recommend Rooster Tails for largemouth and silvers. | |

| My friend Ken and I were fishing a old farm pond here in Ohio. I have always had good luck using Rooster Tails in the past at this pond, but I had a new one to try out on this day. It was the bright yellow w/gold spinner in the 1/4oz size. In my 17 plus years of fishing the biggest largemouth I've ever caught was about 3 pounds, but this was about to change. After catching about 6 small bass about 2 lbs, I made a cast in the deep part of the pond. I haven't fished this part of the lake a lot so it was kinda new to me. Then it hit, after 15 plus minutes of fighting back and forth, I saw the biggest bass I've ever seen caught. We almost lost it, but Ken managed to grab it on the second try. I almost fell out of the boat when I saw it. 5lb 2oz at 22inches long. I caught this using ultra lite tackle, which included 4lb test line. I must say, I have a whole tackle box full of lures, but when all else fails you can count on the Rooster. Thanks for making such a great lure! | |
